Just Beachy...

We went for a weekend in Port Aransas as our last hoorah of summer, and as always, it was wonderful. I'm beginning to wonder if that's because of our destinations or the company I keep...

It has been three years since we went to the beach, and our friends, the Martins, were by our side again! Chase and Britton have grown so much and our girls had so much fun with them.

Turner Falls

We visited a new tourist hotspot this month. It is conveniently placed between us and my Kansas brother in Davis, Oklahoma...Turner Falls.

It is a water recreation area centered around a river in the Arbuckle Mountains. There is a larger pool for jumping and sliding...

Then there are miles of river rocks and rapids to traverse! We even found our own tube slide :)

The most special part of this trip was the whole family being together!

Everett is talking so much now...and we were all anxiously awaiting his baby "brudder" to come around in what we thought was going to be a whole month away!

Someone else has turned into a big boy this summer!

There are also castle formations to explore!
