Sk8 Party

Friends and family gathered to skate and celebrate our sweet 8-year-old this year.

 We attempted the process of making her own birthday cake, and it turned out edible :) The inside was actually rainbow colors!

This girl deserved a celebration full of family and friends who adore her, and she had a great time! She was actually the last one off the rink! Great Sk8 Party!

100th Day

One morning, I woke up a beautiful 8-year-old...

Onomatopeioa

Brenna's reading skills have turned heads at school. She is being pulled out of class every now and then to work with a reading teacher to give her some advanced work. Mrs. Jones gave her this journal for new vocabulary that she learns. She came home telling us about onomatopeioa, when a word emits a sound. She wrote new examples all evening--buzz, clickety clackety, pop, oink...and still reads her journal very often.  

I love watching how her little mind absorbs knowledge, and we are thankful for a school that fosters and appreciates her gift!

Tea Time with the Girls

Our girls got all fancied up for little Avery's party...Time for Tea with the Girl Turning Three!
