Nature has played some mean tricks lately with wildfires and storms all across our state...
Just two weekends ago, we were speeding north to my parents' home in Cisco getting ready to fight a fire blowing straight for their house. Prayers went up, and thankfully, the wind slowed and shifted, so we just ended up playing all weekend! 
Then a week later, we were speeding south from a storm here that was reported to produce a tornado and grapefruit-size hail. Prayers went up, and thankfully, that storm played out and produced much-needed rain for our area...and a joyride for us :)

Prayers went up, and thankfully, that storm played out and produced much-needed rain for our area...and a joyride for us :) It misted one day last week, so the kids really enjoyed playing in the world's greatest sprinkler and watching for rainbows! 
Thank you, Lord, for the rain...even if it also meant lots of MUD...and for your promise to take care of us in all types of weather!
