Here's a little "taste" of our food unit:
Painting with forks, spoons, apples, noodles, straws...
Cake-sicles! We tried to learn about the different food groups...and focused on this one the most :)
The kids developed their own fruit restaurant called the "Rooty Tooty Fruity Place"...where the fruit of the spirit is served daily :)
They were so precious to take turns and help each other participate in the project. We also talked about the different fruit that God wants us to display or work on in our lives. Here were some of our answers: Patience, Kindness, Gentleness with siblings...and yes, while lecturing about something, I was reminded by a little friend to "Remember to work on kindness!"
