Spring Break Skiing

Hello Wolf Creek. Fancy meeting you again...
We had some excited little girls up bright and early before the lifts even opened. It was the most beautiful 12 degrees I have ever imagined.
Brenna skiing at 5: She was a little timid at first and would get frustrated and tire easily...

But after remembering the basics--hold the teddy bear in front of her and make a pizza/candy corn with yours skis--she was handling the mountain all on her own!
Audrey skiing at 7: She knows no fear. The skills came back to her very quickly and she wanted to head straight down the mountain at fast speeds with Daddy--and definitely didn't want to wait on Mama and Brenna.
Josh skiing: He could be a professional. And he looks so great doing it. Period.

Me skiing: I like going with Brenna because she takes very frequent candy breaks.
Pop skiing: He is a very good buffer for the side of the trails where they could ski off, and he is very good at picking up fallen little girls and gathering up tossed skis! He likes granddaughter breaks, too :)

At the end of the morning, it's back home to a warm house and Mimi's home cooking!

Until we meet again next year, Wolf Creek...
