We shared a beautiful Easter Sunday with our church family including all these incredible friends in our church. I loved seeing them all together in the same room.
I also loved getting to teach them an Easter lesson about our Risen King! They were enthralled as we opened each egg to see the symbols of the Easter story: bread for the Last Supper, nails for the cross, strips of cloth for burial, a rock for the large stone, an empty egg for the empty tomb, and candy to celebrate the sweetness of life with Christ who rose from the grave.
Then we hunted eggs in the youth building!
Our wonderful high school friends Libby and Angie
The Lord is Risen indeed!

There's a whole lot of sweetness in these photos, and not the surgary kind...the best kind! Precious children and the Godly adults who are nurturing them . Love it!
