School these Days

Our girls love everything about school. They have exceptional teachers and wonderful classmates. We are always very proud of their hard work and achievements. First and third grade have been no exception! Here are some fun moments this Spring:

I like to swipe Audrey when I can to help me in my room. And she would stay in Kindergarten with me all day every day if she could! Her dream: to be a Kindergarten teacher.

Brenna remembers everything about Kindergarten and enjoys reliving those memories through my students! I actually ask her advice ALOT! They both especially love our chick hatching project...

Audrey took her first STAAR test this year. Believe me, it was a frustrating source of worry and anxiety for both of us. But it grew us both together spiritually as we trusted God to help her through! On our way to school on the day of her test, God gave us a beautiful image straight through our windshield. Brenna said, "Look! The sunbeam is pointing into the car!" We all realized quickly that God was pointing at us, reminding us that with the sword of His spirit, He would fight for us! It was incredibly comforting. This image also brought tears to Audrey's teacher's eyes. And Audrey did great on the test, of course!

First grade program...Brenna is top right!

Perfect Attendance, Rockin' Reader, Vocabulary Star, RMCity leader, Academic Excellence, PE Award, AR Award....Show Off!!

Third Grade Program...Audrey is in the very middle!

Wonderful Mrs. Davis

There was a mixup in Audrey's Perfect Attendance award, so Mr. Stahnke hand-delivered her award to her in class!

We love our principal if you can't tell!

What an exceptional year for our exceptional daughters!
