We are getting a puppy! She is three weeks old right now, and we got to meet her this past weekend.
Her name is Pidge, and she is a cocker spaniel. Her name comes from the movie "Lady and the Tramp" where the Tramp calls Lady (also a cocker spaniel) "Pigeon" or "Pidge" for short.
Her mother belongs to our Uncle Kevin and Aunt Deanna, and she is bred to be a good pheasant hunter as well as a loving pet :)
There are only a few females to choose from between two litters. Most of the females are black, but there is this one little white girl with brown/liver ears.
Pidge will be old enough to come live with us in the middle of June.
We are smitten with her already.
