We spent a glorious few days in Pagosa this past week and did a little skiing at Wolf Creek.
Audrey got sick the day we arrived so she did not get out on the slopes the first day. So this little lady took a ski school lesson all by her big girl self!
Her instructor was very impressed with her athleticism and how well she caught on to the basic skills of "big pizza"--stop, "little pizza"--go, and "holding the teddy bear"--keeping hands in front of you for balance.
She liked the "Magic Carpet" ride (the training mat that takes you up the slope).
Skiing is very tiring, but Brenna kept her smile! She was pretty proud of herself, as she should be!
...and Audrey felt like getting out in the fresh mountain air that afternoon, too.
They both felt great for Day 2, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful mountain morning.
Audrey was a natural again and remembered everything from last year!
Audrey, Daddy & Brenna, and Pop following up behind!
Audrey and the guys took an extra run to the top while Brenna and I laid in the snow eating Starburst :)
Looking forward to a mountain family pic every year...
