We ended our year at Bright Beginnings with a splash during Water Day!
It was pure glee spraying each other...and the teachers!Kids, popsicles, towels, happiness.
"This is the Day",
"God is so Good",
"Skid-a-ma-rink",
"In-right, Out-right, Up-right, Down-Right", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and "Rise and Shine".
They did so great. I was so proud. Then I loved hugging their necks and telling funny stories about them. Brenna: She has been my big helper all year helping me plan lessons for each letter. She loves reading books, and her favorite right now is "The One, The Only Magnificent Me" which she calls "The Amazing Me". She is determined to learn how to read this summer. When she grows up, she wants to be a mom or maybe a tooth fairy :)
Awpa and Layton admiring her memory book. Granny and Nana came to her program, too!
On our very last day, we made chef hats (that looked more like shower caps, haha), made playdough, and decorated cookies! It was a perfect end to our year.
This post and all of these end-of-year events are especially emotional for me because this is actually the end of our little preschool completely. I have been offered a preschool teacher position at the elementary school. The good news is that most of these little darlings can relocate with me! More details on that later, but it is definitely bittersweet to close this incredible chapter of my life. This preschool will forever hold a very special place in my heart...as well as these sweet kiddos.
