Brenna's Big Girl Room
This is Brenna's big girl horse room!
Mimi finished the AMAZING horse mural for her window shade a few weeks ago, and Brenna is in love with it. She mentions it almost every day when she is going to sleep or waking up. We are also proud to have one of Awpa's saddles in her room to ride. It is one of many he has won at ropings.
This is the shelf that Josh made when it was Audrey's nursery, and it is now adorned with a rope horse that my Granny gave me a long time ago, a sweet daddy/daughter pic, boots worn by both girls, a pretty "B" and angel from Mimi, an antique oil lamp that was my great-aunt's, my old spurs and decorative horses from my childhood, and a few other little sweet trinkets.
This dresser was Josh's when he was little, and Brenna loves looking at the picture of her riding Hollywood "myself". I also included a little pic of me riding when I was her age on a horse named Pillsbury.
Josh is working on fashioning a headboard from the girls' old crib, and that should add the perfect touch to a really sweet little room for a really sweet little girl!

I loved "painting by number" to make the shade in Brenna's room. 'Elephants on the Wall' is a great resource for easy art projects.
You have made a great room for this sweet girl.
